The combination
no competitor can replicate

We built GOIA because no other UK cyber advisory firm speaks both languages fluently - the language of cybersecurity and the language of running an FCA-regulated IFA practice.

Independent visibility of cyber risk − in the language of business, not IT.

GOIA Technologies provides independent cyber governance advisory that translates cyber exposure into board-level decisions. Not IT support. Not a monitoring tool. An independent advisory practice operating above the IT layer.

Our structured model moves IFA managing directors from initial risk exposure snapshot through to ongoing governance assurance - delivered in the language of business risk, regulatory accountability and firm value, not technical jargon.

We are not the firm that tells you what software to install. We are the firm that tells your board where it stands, what it is accountable for and what a defensible governance position looks like - before the FCA, an insurer, or an incident asks the question.

Values and operating principles

Clarity over complexity

Every finding translated into plain-language board decisions. No technical jargon in client communication.

Independence over convenience

Fully independent from IT providers. No conflict of interest in governance findings. No tool sales.

Accountability at every level

Our advice creates documented, defensible accountability for directors - and we hold ourselves to the same standard.

Credibility through substance

NCSC CAF, FCA PS21/3, NIST CSF v2.0 and CIS Controls v8 alignment. Credentials that come from doing, not claiming.

Two founders. One unique position.

The credibility gap that every generic cyber firm faces when speaking to regulated financial businesses is closed from day one.
